Gahan House Riverside - Fredericton

Although the restaurant offers a wide variety of gluten-free options and appears to be knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross contamination, there are concerns about their kitchen practices. Despite specifying my dietary needs as a celiac and ordering from their gluten-free menu, I discovered tortilla strips in my meal that were likely contaminated as they were fried in a shared fryer. It seemed that the kitchen attempted to remove the strips from my dish once they realized it was a gluten-free order, rather than remaking it entirely. While the manager was understanding and promised to address the issue with the kitchen staff, I would advise caution when dining at this restaurant.

I dined at this restaurant in July 2024. They offer a gluten-free menu with a variety of tasty options. The restaurant itself is very pleasant. The food was delicious and there were plenty of choices. I tried the burger with a gluten-free bun and it was fantastic.

I was there Friday , February 3rd and had the dine around Freddy “GF” options. I have been sick ever since. I have celiac disease and this restaurant is not safe !

Amazing server (Alex), very on top of things. Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing desert. Delicious gluten free food as well for someone with celiac. Definitely will going back and a must try for those who haven't tried it yet!
