Orofino - Fredericksburg

Had a fabulous meal here a couple of months ago. Love the atmosphere food was delicious the wine was spectacular and really reasonably priced! Gelato was better than anywhere else! Can’t wait to go back!!

For those, who have already dined at Orofino's, you know what I'm about to say. For those, who have yet to try this incredible addition to the local Fredericksburg restaurant scene, you should consider it a must. The cuisine is AUTHENTIC ITALIAN not New York Italian, not New Jersey Italian, or anything else. Orofino's is genuine old country Italian, with a nice twist. Danilo Orofino, owner and chef, is from Sicily. Not only is he Italian, he is a supherb chef, as well. In addition to its fine food, Orofino's showcases dishes each month, characteristic of one of the 20 Italian regions. Danilo, his lovely wife, Alona, and their staff will take great care of you. Reservations are highly recommended.

Delicious Italian food! The very best Italian food you can get in Fredericksburg. My linguini and clam sauce was the best I've had in a long time. The servers are so helpful and friendly. I know I will be going back again soon!

Delicious food, delightful staff. Went the first night in Fredericksburg and it was so good I came back the last night. Lobster ravioli was superb, as was everything else. Even the Italian in our party was impressed. Kudos to the staff for not only tolerating but having fun with a group of raucous writers. ;

A total 5 loved it food was incredible and very nice staff. Owner came by very nice. Would highly recommend going for dinner. Mushroom Ravioli in cream sauce to die for.
