Fahrenheit 132 - Fredericksburg

This was my husbands first time there. He is a meat eater, he loves Mikes in Springfield Va because of their steak and prime rib. He got the 36oz Porterhouse steak. He was in Heaven here on earth. He told me yesterday : no need to drive up north in traffic for a good steak anymore. It was our 18th anniversary and his 58th birthday on yesterday . I made the reservation as a gift to him. He was so pleased and Happy. Thank you for making our day special. Tammy Hamn

This downtown steak house was bustling on Sunday at 7:00 and we had a brief wait for our table. The room is really loud! The grilled meats are definitely the highlights here. My wife's hangar steak and my pork chop were perfectly prepared. The vegetable du jour was billed as grilled corn salad, but the corn tasted boiled instead of grilled, The root vegetable puree soup was tasty. My wife's fries were lukewarm when served and my mashed potatoes were nothing special. The wine list is extensive and we enjoyed a nice California pinot noir. Server was fine but she seemed somewhat overstretched by all the tables she was serving. This is a bit pricey for an everyday restaurant but it's nice for a special occasion.

We went there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The meals we had were outstanding and cooked perfectly. We go there frequently and have never been disappointed.

I was disappointed to find that our table wasn’t ready and to watch a couple come in who didn’t have a reservation to immediately get seated.

Amazing dinner, drinks, and dessert a home run every time! Our favorite in FXBG.
