First visit today....great conversation about family and Italy. ....we live in Anderson so it's a short drive...... will be back soon...... thank you ?
We goofed on our timing and arrived right as Gio's closed. The staff, however, were extremely courteous and accommodating, and invited us in. While I don't recommend doing this, it highlights the level of customer service they provide. We left with gelato, sorbet, and pastry treats, all of which were quite satisfying. I hope to get back soon to try the coffee and examine their Italian Market wares. We'll just schedule a more appropriately-timed visit.Be aware that the shop is small. It's a to-go business, it appears, rather than a sit-down location for gelato and coffee. They are only a block from the benches of a small park, however, and the Main Street is one of those that people will want to walk while eating a treat.
Great spot in a cool part of town. This area has such great potential one day it’ll be hopping. Gio is worth the ride. Easy to find. Quick trip from Simpsonville. Go there asapParking: Lots of space
