Taqueria Mi Tierra - Fort Wayne

I'm from Texas, and this is the only food that brings back memories of home for me. I would love it if they started serving lemonade! LOL

I’ve only tried the tacos for take-out from Mi Tierra, and they are absolutely amazing. I was thrilled to find a place that serves tripe and tongue, and these tacos completely surpassed any I’ve had before. The meat had just the right amount of crispy caramelization when I bit into it, then it melted in my mouth—so delicate and truly perfect. The cilantro and onions added just the right touch, and the salsa that came with them was a wonderful complement. I wish I had savored them longer, but once I took a bite, I found myself wanting more. The portion sizes were generous, and given the price, it was an incredible value. Next time, if I want tacos that are better than what I can make at home, this is where I’ll go. You really need to try them to see what I mean!

This is definitely my go-to spot for tacos in Fort Wayne. The interior is small and a bit outdated, but honestly, the food is what matters most to me. The staff is always respectful and friendly, and I've never had a bad experience or meal here. For about 2.5 years, my best friend and I have been coming here every Tuesday for tacos and horchata. Please remember to tip, whether you're dining in or taking out—I'd be heartbroken if they ever closed down.

The tacos and horchata here are fantastic; this place is the real deal. The service is dependable and incredibly quick. When you dine in, you receive complimentary chips and salsa, and their spicy salsas are absolutely delicious!
