Smokey Bones Fire Grill - Fort Wayne

I really wanted to like this restaurant because I love barbecue. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The barbecue protein on the fire top grill looked promising, but the ribs were overcooked and dry. The chicken wings were the best part, with a great smoky flavor. Our steak, ordered medium rare, was too rare and had a strange purplish tint. The grill cover was in poor condition and the waiter mentioned it couldn't be secured due to being overused. Our disappointment continued when we couldn't redeem our $10 off promotion as the website was down and the manager did not honor it, despite showing the email confirmation. Overall, it was a disappointing experience at Smokey Bones.

I frequent Smokey Bones often. Each time I visit, I receive a warm welcome from the host, Abby. Upon sitting at the bar, I am always pleased to see Emily, who consistently ensures my order is delivered correctly. She crafts delicious drinks and appears to genuinely enjoy her work, creating a fun atmosphere for dining. I adore this restaurant and the staff, including Christian, who handles our takeout orders.

We had a party of 6 and had a great early Sunday lunch at Smokey Bones. The restaurant was clean inside and out and even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long for our table. The menu had a lot of choices and the food was delicious, hot, and served in large portions.

Today was my first try at this establishment and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Fried Pickles, Brisket Platter, and Banana Pudding. My Server Theresa was amazing and attentive. The Manager Kenny came out to ask how everything was ... I am so impressedI will definitely be back for lunch and make this a regular place to dine.

The brisket here is PERFECT! chefs kiss FOR SURE! I'm from Texas, and this is the closest to home I have found so far!!!! My waitress Grace was SUCH a doll!!!!
