A&W - Fort St. John

Its what i needed at that moment. the burgers are always great at A&W.fries were meh, but didnt care as it was probably because I was driving and eating

The establishment's interior could do well with a good makeover, but that being said it serves pretty great burgers/sandwiches. I stop in here at times while shopping in the area (Walmart or the Totem Mall). I do like the selection of food here. Almost each time I dine here, I will see someone doing some sort of cleaning to keep the place tidy. It is never crowded as many people prefer the take-away option. I do enjoy the different types of chicken burgers/sandwiches served her. The service is quick and the staff friendly.

Stopped in and had a burger with my spouse the meal was excellent the overall appearance could have been a little cleaner as there was not to many people there when we were there

Stopped here for lunch on our way out of Fort St. John on our way back home. After coaching all morning, and officiating in the afternoon I was really hungry. We initially went to Wendy's (our favorite) but it was closed so we went to A&W. Once we got to the counter we waited for at least 5 minutes before placing our order and get this there was NO line in either the front counter and only 1 car in the drive thru. The order taker ( who's tag said 'Manager') took our order and assumed we were staying, never asked us if we were to stay or to go. After taking the order he then turned his back to use and left us standing once again before taking our payment, at which point he had already begun preparing other people's orders. He then took our payment, then pulled a glass out of the chiller and we told him our order was to go and he said 'well you never said so' but he never asked. After finally getting our order and out the door it took us 15 minutes for our order. Never again will I visit this A&W if the service is like this.I love A&W, but I think next time I'll wait until I'm back in Dawson Creek and go there as they know me by name and are much faster and friendlier.

A shout out to whomever owns his place, maybe you live in filth at home or you simply don't care about your franchise, if so, sell it. You have children supervising children. Cold greasy food, garbage all over the place. The floors, oh my god, it is probably cleaner outside. So sad, this A&W was a decent place for a burger once. Hey, maybe if you paid a bit more you could actually get someone to work for you that cared even a little about this place. Horrible, dirty, filthy, picking scabs on her hand then handling food? really?
