Best carnitas burrito on island. Margaritas are always on point. Great service. Paeking can be sketchy.

Wanted to like this place since there is a shortage of good Mexican spots on Oahu....Ordered take out from the Kalihi spot and decided on a Asada Wet Burrito Combo Plate.At first glance, the side rice and beans looked sad, portioned out like a Zippys meal. I know costs are high in Hawaii but the sides are usually piled high in Los Angeles.Burrito looked good too till I dove in... For asada I could barely figure out where the meat was... It was mostly filler?Rather save my ? and take a trip back to East LA?A generous 3 stars.

I bought macho Burrito ? and the rice is hard. I been going to Alejandro in San Diego but this is my first time that the Burrito is not good. Please cook your rice well.

This hole in the wall osy favorite restaurant on island. Don't be deceived by the exterior, the food and people on the inside are fabulous. The bar next door is a great place to grab a cerveza while you wait for you food (if taking out).

Owner needs to run his restaurant not employees. Mar 2022 food was good, restaurant busy. Feb 2024 food service greatly declined, restaurant empty, Japanese server limited English, alcohol no longer served at lunchtime, it’s Mexican food no cilantro? Sour cream? tomato?
