Huddle House - Fort Polk South

I visited Huddle House yesterday and found the waitstaff to be friendly, and the service was okay. However, I was disappointed when my food arrived; I opened my container to find it dirty. It looked like it had come straight out of the bag without proper care. If the food was going to be served like that, they should have at least ensured that everything was fresh and clean, or not served at all! It's clear that they don't check the quality of what they're serving. If they wouldn't serve it to their own family, why are they serving it to customers? It seems like the manager and staff need to pay more attention before sending out orders.

The service was adequate, and the waitress was lovely, but unfortunately, that's about all this place has going for it. There was a long wait for food that ended up being quite disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.
