Oniku Japanese Cuisine Hibachi

We moved a little under 2 years ago into the opposite and were so excited that there was a Japanese restaurant so close. we just ordered the takeout, but it was always delicious! the hibachi dinners and poke sushi dishes are our favorites. try them anyway!

I highly recommend eating Dinner in house one time it's a nice quiet little spot with great food. I'm a big fan of the Filet and Fried rice meal, the steak comes out amazing. They have a few really good seafood options and the soups are good too. I have eaten here and had their take out 15-20 times and have never had a bad experience. You wouldn't expect that quality of food by the look of the store front, but the restaurant itself is quite nice and clean. I'll eat there again within the next month.

Omg the steak us so goood could be a bit bigger but it was delicious 9/10 and the music is good definitely coming back soon

The food was excellent, large portions, very good price, clean restaurant, and the owner/chef was a good host. I was disappointed to see that the food is not cooked at the table, as I was told from others. There is really no Japanese décor or atmosphere. Also the restaurant has no sake, beer, or wine. Overall, I would recommend this for take-out but not an impressive place to dine at.

Ordered here today got 2 poke bowls and specifically asked for the magi dressing. Asked again when I picked up the order to be told “it’s on the bowl” got the whole way back to Gifford to eat to find it wasn’t added or on the side and it’s like this every time I order! I like the bowls, but hate that the dressing is always missing. It’s not hard to write an order down and prepare the food as requested I mean I did pay for it
