Islamorada Fish Company - Fort Myers

Driving from a Family Kids party at Gym World in Ft. Myers. Guess, meant to end up here. Got on South Bound Ramp Ughh Instead of North to Jax: GPS informed big delay due to an accident. Starving decided on Steak House at Outlet Mall. No parking. Place packed. Spotted Isla Morada Fish Co. it's part of Outdoor World. Sure, I know it's Touristy. Pricey The Seafood is generally good. Got seated right away. Jon,Server. Also Joie, Server approached our table. She was friendly. They seem to have good work etiquette and work as a Team. Was specific about the catch of the day. I am very familiar with salt water fish. Wanting fresh not frozen . Opted for the Red Snapper Fillet. Grilled with Margarine. No butter can't have Dairy . First restaurant in for ever, that has a simple thing. Instead of butter. Great: Accompanied by Broccoli Florets. I liked my Broccoli well done. First attempt was to crunchy. They brought out a new serving. Was a little better. Still, did not have that well cooked robust flavor. I chose to keep it. Based on how attentive and apologetic they were. In my experience. They earned a Five Star. They do have a full bar. Happy Hour Choices. Fish was moist, fresh taste, very good. If available on a future visit. Would order the Red Snapper here again. Not able to comment on Bar creations. Simply opted out the spirits this evening. Had Sprite. I'd like to add the Mgr on duty this evening. He enquired at least twice about the quality of the service and the food. Yes, I'd return.

Located right next to the Bass Pro Shop Nice, casual, friendly With a nice Florida seafood menu. I have been to the original Islamorada Fish Company down in the Keys A bit better location there, but this was pretty good, and convenient for lunch when flying out of RSW!

What can I say, it's a seafood restaurant in Florida, very much like any other seafood restaurant in Florida. The staff is friendly, atmosphere is pleasant but dark inside. The outdoor patio seating is nice. The menu is limited in choices and prices are a little on the expensive side. I did not find anything really exciting about this place. If you are hungry and in the area, it's worth a shot!

Let me start by saying I loved this restaurant it was such a great atmosphere and great food to eat. So, My wife and sister were seated as my brother and I parked, so we walk in and sit down and look through the menu and wait for our drinks to be taken.... waited... now we are ready to order plus we still are waiting for our drinks to be taken.... waited... still no one had even said anything or even acknowledged us, everyone else around us had service... so we are a patient family and we give benefit of the doubt so we wait I'd say about 20 minutes go by and we made the decision we left. Horrible feeling to be ignored and it makes you feel like your business is not welcome. Felt as if the staff at work were just slow and unhappy. Please take this is consideration and better your business for the future.

I'll just start by saying its just OK. I wouldn't recommend it like oh yeah you have to try this place. And I wouldn't say, avoid this place it sucks. Its just ok. We had the fish tacos, the upgraded ones because the waiter said get the upgrade they are better than standard. Um, they were ok, disappointing actually given this is a fish place. I had the steak sandwich which was good. But why was meat better than fish in a fish place? The waiter was very good and knowledgeable. The wait time was good. So, service was good, quality was just ok. Id call it 2.5 stars.
