Kelly's Cakes - Fort Madison

I might be a bit biased since Kelly is my grandmother, but I can confidently say on behalf of everyone who has visited that she runs the best bakery in Iowa and well beyond. The treats are absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Occasionally, they might notice that I have a fondness for cupcakes—sometimes as many as 13! It really just depends.

She is an incredible person, and there's so much to say about her. Her baked goods are absolutely divine! We celebrated my 5-year-old's party a month early just so we could enjoy Kelly's cupcakes and cookies before our next event. We really miss their friendliness and amazing treats!

I’ll admit I'm a bit partial to this place because Kelly is my aunt. No beating around the bush here. But her cupcakes are truly amazing and could even impress Gordon Ramsay. I stand by that, regardless of my bias. If you're in town and have a craving for something sweet, you absolutely must order at least a dozen of her cupcakes to truly enjoy life. That’s simply a fact.
