The food is excellent, and the menu offers something unique at very reasonable prices. Don't be deterred by its location within a church complex; there is absolutely no religious connection here.

The Grill is an outstanding restaurant, not just for its delicious food but also because it's located within the incredible Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. What could be better than spending a Saturday night worshiping and then heading over to our favorite dining spot?

Mel is an exceptional server! He made my daughter and me feel really welcomed. Since it was our first time eating at the grill, he kindly recommended the pizza. We decided on the avocado toast, which was a perfect choice—10 out of 10, highly recommended! We also tried the shrimp garlic pasta and chimichurri chicken, along with a garden salad on the side. This place was so fantastic that I felt compelled to write this review while enjoying dessert! Be sure to ask for Mel; he’s the best, even though he’s a man of few words!

Ging after the church there today. had a bad experience. I ordered hot coffee and husband ordered ice cream coffee. The menu offers 'coffee' at $2.50. Server didn't tell us they don't have ice cream coffee, but they have the specialty cold brewed coffee $5). She brought cold brews for him without telling us the difference, and when the food came, our coffees were empty. I asked if we could have more coffee. She brought me hot coffee and just ignored my husband's empty glass. When she came back later, we asked if he could get another coffee. She said the cold brews have no refills. I said we ordered ice cream coffee. I am not sure if they understood the difference Iced Coffees are usually the same price as hot coffee and have refills) but anyway we have rejected the refill at $5 per pop, and they just left my husband with nothing to drink the rest of the meal. Even if he had ordered the cold brew, the menu does not specify any refills. I think this is a mistake on the server part to not explain from the beginning when he ordered ice cream coffee. And also someone with an empty glass to leave their whole meal and not know it because it's free refills on this drink. As a former server itself, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Server not their job, and also the restaurant not clear in their menu. Not the best experience right after worship.

Really enjoyed the chicken curry soup, and the apple bread pudding was excellent, the havana-rito lunch pork with rice beans and terrific pico de gallo was huge portion and really tasty. Would definitely go back. Prices very reasonable.
