Country Kitchen Taste - Fort Lauderdale

This is a Jamaican restaurant. Not exactly what I expected. My wife and I decided to try some local sea food. We were not greeted, we didn’t even feel initially welcome. Upon arrival, we noticed specials that were suggested to only be offered on weekends. However the cashier assured that we could still order it, only to shortly after inform us they didn’t have any lobster. They also didn’t have majority of the sides listed. In the end the food was great. Service was mediocre.

I've always been a fan of Norma's food.... this restaurant just made it a highlights of her great cuisines.... the conch soup is one of my favorite, escovitch tilapia, chicken wings all delicious... oxtail is a little sweet but very tender... every time I'm in town I must go back

Seafood off the chain and shrimp salad is really good

The customers at this restaurant are quite rude and often take my parking spot, making it difficult for me to find parking. The owners don’t seem to care about the situation.

You'll receive a warm welcome here. The food is delicious and packed with flavor, offering a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Absolutely! It's truly finger-licking good!
