Subway - Fort Belvoir

I would rate this place zero stars if I could. There are no sub shops around here, which is disappointing because the sandwiches here are subpar. They skimp on the meat, putting on less than eight slices, and the chicken is only 56% actual meat. I’m not sure how they stay in business. I'd much rather take a trip to Jersey Mike's or any local mom-and-pop sandwich shop every single time. Subway really doesn’t cut it.

This visit was accompanied by a brand new umbrella! Just don't expect the same when you leave. It was simply a matter of timing that worked out for us. As always, the food is the same; it’s Subway after all. What really makes the experience enjoyable are the cleanliness, atmosphere, and presentation of the bathrooms in Subways. This location was spotless, efficiently moving several customers through the line, and it was a nice touch that they provided us with a screen for our walk home in the rain. It’s a great spot to meet up before heading to the bowling alley!

This is a Subway location with a wide variety of options and reliable quality. It tends to get busy during lunchtime (around 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM), but the line usually moves quickly, even when it's long. Finding curbside parking can be tricky, but there are plenty of parking lots across the street and behind the building. I visit this place about 3 to 5 times a month.

A healthier option for fast food....
