The food was easy, the staff was nice. I ordered them to go. When I was waiting for my food, a customer came back to return their pizza and cheese frits. The pizza was burned and the cheese on the frits. Okay, it happens that I understand. I got my order and took it home to eat. I opened the plastic bag and got my food to discover that they forgot my pages and my chicken was also burned. My husband ordered a chicken bacon quadilla, it was mediocre and nothing to rave. I called that my crushed chicken was burned and my pages didn't get, they were nice and gave me my meal back. Make yourself a favor and eat before you get there.
I usually have good experiences with Mattinglys, but the visit service we received last night was surprisingly bad. Let me paint the scene: We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and placed our beverage orders (2 water 2 sodas... there were a total of 4 people). The drinks arrived fast, which was great. But our waiter didn't ask if he was willing to order an appetizer... what we did. About 5 minutes later he returned and we placed the order for our 2 appetizers (Spinach Dip and Fried Pickles). 5 minutes later we put the order for our main course (1 pizza, 3 salads, 1 buffalo pack and 6 wings)... that was at 6:45. We spent about 20 minutes at the table before we wondered where our appetizers were. We hadn't seen our waiter since our order. Our waiter then exchanged through the table with soda refills, but he didn't comment on anything. He also swallowed 95% of the time he spoke to us; we couldn't really understand what he said when he came back. About 30 minutes after ordering the apps we finally received them. We ate the apps and then we waited more. At 7:30 a.m. we started looking at our waiter, because he was apparently disappeared again, he never checked with us whether the food was good or whether we needed anything else. Sure enough for him to go through with even more refills, but never took the dirty cups and left the dirty app plates at the table. The waiter then took off without a clear word. Be careful, 3 of us ordered salad mines was the most basic salad (only salad, cheese and crust) and it was 45 50 minutes since we ordered this item and there were no salads in sight. We began to be frustrated because we noticed the tables around us that the other 2 waiters came after us and received their food in a reasonable amount of time...and these waiters would often come back to them and check how everything was going. Meanwhile our waiter was nowhere in sight, AGAIN. At 7:45 p.m. our salads, wings, buffalo pack and pizza arrived. The buffalo chicken sluice had no buffalo sauce on it, but our friend was worried about how long it would take our waiter to come back with the sauce so that he just ate it as it came. The salads were the best part of the main course the wings were fine, but had light sauce on them and the pizza was just terrible. It was suuuper thin...not like your traditional thin crust... that had the thickness of the sacramental bread/wafer that you would eat in the church. The cheese was not even completely melted in the middle, the bottom of the crust was pale and the total heat of the pizza was cooler than room temperature. Our waiter continued to bring refill that we did not need (if we leave the dirty dishes in the middle), never asked if we had something or even how the food tasted. He brought home the reception of containers; now, he actually torn them to the dirty dishes that caused the soil
