The Boat House - Florida Keys

The Boathouse is one of our favorite restaurants in Key West. Whether in town for work or pleasure, it is a must-stop for lunch, dinner, or happy hour. The food is consistently exceptional in quality and taste, and the service is prompt, pleasant, and competent. Attention to detail extends to their salads, which are filled with crisp, fresh greens and a variety of vegetables dressed in a delicious vinaigrette. My personal favorite dish is the panko-crusted mahi-mahi, served with a caper sauce, salad, and potato wedges. I always make sure to order it whenever I visit Key West. The staff and management at The Boathouse are clearly doing things right. Can't wait for my next visit!

I had a wonderful experience at the bar with exceptional and professional service. The draft beer selection was impressive, featuring everything from Guiness Stout to local brews. The appetizer menu offered a variety of options, with the lobster bisque and tenderloin kabobs standing out as particularly delicious choices. The kabobs were served with a side salad topped with blue cheese. While the entree selection was also extensive, the appetizers alone were satisfying. The atmosphere at the spacious bar was fantastic, and the location right on the marina was stunning.

We have visited this restaurant twice now and have enjoyed both experiences. The lively atmosphere downstairs can sometimes result in a wait, but once upstairs it is peaceful and breezy.

This restaurant is amazing! We heard about The Boathouse from fellow campers at the nearby marine base and decided to give it a try. We went during happy hour and had an early dinner that was absolutely delicious. The coconut war was particularly enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly.
