Mi Tierra San Jose Mexican - Florence

Enjoyed a great meal with the family last night. The extended family got together each week and Mi Tierra to catch up and enjoy some great food and drink. With great anticipation, we went with an understanding that there are learning curves in a new place. I can tell you honestly, that it ran like clockwork. The food was as good as ever as was the service. Everything was new, right down the silverware and plates. This was a tremendous investment by this family and they have a first class restaurant to show for it. The place is larger than the previous location; however, without the wall separating the two halves of the restaurant, it seems smaller. I think I will miss watching sports on the giant screen at the old place. The beer is cold and the salsa is hot, so I am sure I will get over it. Try it for yourself.

Mi Terra has the best Mexican food around this area. Friendly staff and the service is always great!

My husband and I stumbled upon Mi Tierra when we moved to Florence almost 10 years ago. We have been regulars ever since the very first visit. The food is ALWAYS incredible, no matter what you order, but the people are what truly make the place. You just feel appreciated welcome while you are there. Last night, they had a soft opening at their GORGEOUS new location and personally called us to dine with them before they opened to the public. You would expect a couple of 'hiccups ' at a new place, but everything moved like clockwork. The food may have even been better if at all possible!! They truly are the BEST at what they do. At the end of our meal, we found out it was 'on the house ' as a way of thanking their frequent customers!!! Who does that anymore?! I can 't say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Please give them a try if you never have...you will NOT regret it!!!

I've been there twice an enjoyed both times. The food always on point. An I never had an 32 oz beer.

Omg the spinach quesadilla is out of this world and the chicken taco salad is very good too. I will be back!!! Lol
