Buca Lapi - Florence

I found this jewel of a place at my last night in flourishing and that was one of the best meals I ever had! the owner, the personal, the decor, the ambiente, the eating was amazing! the ravioli and the bistecca alla fiorentina were exceptional and highly recommended. the personal was professional and friendly and the owner, luciano was fantastic! he made me very welcome and it was at the end to see how passionate he is about his restaurant. he was very associated with the service and he called buca lapi his house and it is clear to see how much this place means for him, it made the experience something special. buca lapi is definitely a place I will come back when I visit florence again!

The eating, the atmosphere and the staff were amazing! alice and the staff were friendly and accommodating. we were able to communicate in English and they did not seem to be sneaking to our attempt to speak Italian. this place is reserved only from a ground. the steak, canoli and chocolate deserts were great decisions. we will definitely dinate with them again. that was a pleasant experience for us. highest recommended.

The best meal we had in Florence. If you’re going to have Bistecca Alla Fiorentina while in Florence, have it here. The food is incredible, the staff is so lovely, kind and professional, and the restaurant is cozy. You must make reservations we made ours a day in advance and were the last available table, so plan a few days ahead. You can call and make reservations in English. Incredible meal!
