Mokarico Caffe - Firenze

Probably wouldn’t choose this spot to try to experience Tuscan high cuisine but it is great for a morning coffee and cornetto while waiting for the Uffizi to open or just enjoying the stunning views of Piazza della Signoria.

This is one of the many gelato outlets in Florence and is amongst the priciest of the lot, maybe on account of its prime location near the uffizi gallery.Nothing spectacular about the gelatos too

Stopped here because it looked a little quicker as a ‘cafeteria’. It’s prime location just off the piazza is maybe why they don’t advertise the prices on beverages. But suggest avoiding if you want a quick stop. There are better spots nearby. The location of this spot is prime but they could really upgrade and expand their food available in the evening and lower drink prices, and there would be a few more customers in here. Servers were very helpful.

The owner is a liar and a con artist. We asked for normal ice cream and received gigantic portions. And speaking of gigantic, so was the price we had to pay for this mediocre ice cream. Owner said we asked for the biggest portion (like 10 scoops), we did not. Tourist trap. Go somewhere else.
