A true diamond in the rough. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was casual, polite and knowledgeable; anything but stuffy. It had the vibe of a friendly neighborhood diner with a Michelin star chef. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The dining room is small and the dinner menu is focused on some higher end proteins. We stopped in for drinks and sat at the bar. The cocktails were well made with fresh ingredients and quality spirits. Wonderful service from the bartender and a good group of regular customers who encouraged us to order an appetizer. The charcuterie board was OK, but could have benefited from more diversity. The cheese selections all leaned a bit too sweet (for me at least) with a fruit, beer, and wine infusions which was a bit one note. First time visiting this place, walking in you feel immediately comforted. It has a very warm, cozy, and open atmosphere. I was there with some family and friends and was greeted with nothing but smiles and courtesy from our server Lisa. She was very professional, answered all the questions we had about every dish. She was very knowledgeable about the entire menu as well as the establishment and history behind it. Nowadays it is incredibly difficult to find a server with not only a great attitude, but also who is someone that takes care of her customers like family. As for the food, Chef Alex puts out incredibly well rounded dishes that hit the palate on every spot. It is clear his culinary genius makes each dish very unique from the ingredients to the care and time he takes to make everything perfect. 10/10 would absolutely go back and cannot wait to see how the fall menu differs. Our food was impeccable. Our waitress @Krysten was attentive and personable. I would strongly recommend the crab stuffed shrimp appetizer. The wine selection is excellent. Thanks for a great experience. We’re definitely coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
