Becket's Tea Rooms - Fenland

Beckets started doing sunday lunches for the first time today. The food was delicious, only negative is that the roast potatoes weren't crispy enough for my liking. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. It was good value, very relaxing atmosphere and we look forward to a return visit soon.

When entering Becket's tea room found it very tired looking even though it appeared that they had tried. Saying that it needs a good overall and clean to get rid of the cobwebs especially the disgusting worn toilet seat which looked as old as the Cathedral As previously commented by somebody else our cheese scone was very dry and disappointing, would not be going back again.

If you have money to throw away then this is the place for you. Very expensive and mediocre quality. We only had a coffee, a tea and 2 fruit scones and it came to over £14. Wished we'd gone elsewhere for a meal instead, but you live n learn.

So thrilled Beketts has reopened as a tea room . Service was spot on and lunch was perfect . Visited a few times in August .Once for lunch and twice for coffee and cake Perfect spot to escape for a while away from the busy streets .You would never know so close to town .

This restaurant is a fantastic place to grab lunch or enjoy a cup of tea in town. We ordered fruit scones, lemon cake, a pot of tea, and a coffee, and everything was delicious. The homemade scone and cake were especially tasty and the scone was generously-sized. We highly recommend this place.
