La Cuisine - Fellowship

This was our third time in La Cuisine and the food was the best yet, but contacts with our waiter and others at the restaurant were a little less pleasant then on the other occasions.

Our service was impeccable- our server Naomi made it great. Food was great. Fish was fresh, veggies yummy. Creme brûlée was fine. That could be improved. Drinks here are always spot on. Ambiance was very quiet like a church, so watch your voice level if you go ; Overall, one of our favorites in ocala and probably our favorite in downtown ocala. Nothing beats sitting at the bar here for a great drink and some good food. Thanks!

Outstanding first visit! I had the Duck Magret with Risotto, my wife had the Chicken Airline breast and we treated mom to a 16oz. Ribeye! Also shared Steak Tartare appetizer, wow! Every dish was fantastic and our server Naome was outstanding!

Been here a few times. The food was wonderful as always. French Martinis for drinks. Escargot to start , was just right with garlic and butter. Cassola was perfect with white beans, carrots , sausage, pork bits and a falling off the bone 1/2 duck. Dessert: Raspberry and Vanilla Soufflé. Service was average. Waitperson was 10 minutes getting to our table to start with drinks. Appetizer was prompt. Entree was 40 minutes. Once meal was complete he ask if there was anything else I had ordered soufflé which he was startled and said he would have it right out which did not come until 20 minutes later. Finally had to wait for another 10 minutes after dessert was finished and had to wave him down to get check. Will come back but not with that waitperson.

My husband took me to La Cuisine to surprise me with plans to go to France for our anniversary next month! Everything was fantastic! I don't generally like escargot but theirs is phenomenal. I had the swordfish and it was outstanding. He really enjoyed the duck and risotto.
