The Wing Company Pembroke

I spent $77.18 at Wing Co. in Pembroke tonight, and I was disappointed with my experience. Before leaving, I checked the food and found that some items weren't made correctly and one item was missing. Traveling from Laurinburg to Pembroke for such unprofessional service was frustrating, especially since I’m the one who paid for the meal. It took an hour to fix the mistakes they made, and I can only hope the food is decent by the time I get back to Laurinburg. I'm really over this situation and feel a gift card would be a fair response to their poor service tonight.

I've been a fan of this location for several months now. There was one occasion when my curbside order was missing an item, but they handled it quickly and politely. Unfortunately, my experience tonight was quite different. I went in instead of placing my usual online order, specifically to upgrade to the appetite combo with LOADED fries topped with bacon, sour cream, and more. When I got home, however, I found chili and queso fries instead. The rest of the sampler was overcooked and packaged carelessly, and I had to ask for sauces separately. I didn't realize there was a mix-up with the fries until I got home. When I called to address the issue, I was told that the OWNER packaged my food. This is disappointing considering the poor packaging, and they were aware that it was supposed to be loaded fries but didn't have sour cream available. I even emailed a photo to prove that I wasn't lying. Mistakes can happen on a busy Friday night, and I can understand that, but don’t try to make it seem like the customer is at fault. This experience was just unacceptable.

The food is excessively overpriced. The boneless wings are really just popcorn chicken. The loaded fries were messy and not fully cooked. The bone-in wings were overpriced and undercooked, lacking in flavor. While the staff was friendly, you'd be better off going to Bojangles for what you’re paying compared to what you receive. Alternatively, it’s worth the drive to Arnold’s for better wings at a lower price.

CLEAN! whole crew worked together to clean the grill and go area really good! Boneless wings and Buffalo chips were great, really good drink specials throughout the week!

They were busy when we went in since they were doing a fundraiser. However, those employees were hustling and once our server became available and we ordered, things were very quick. The staff was great and I will visit again one day when I visit UNCP again!
