I'm not one that leaves bad reviews, but my experience has moved me today. I went to this place with my wife and two children, 6 and 10. We saw an advertisement eating children from 4-10 hours free. We ordered our food with the server that was nice but unattended. He was busy cleaning up the floor and talking to his employees, including those I found out later, was the manager. Quickly forward to get the food. It wasn't the best I had, but it wasn't unbearable, so I didn't complain. My wife's meal was wrong, but again we didn't complain. We were not checked for the whole time and the server brought our check. I looked at the check, and my two children were charged for full deer, instead of child meal. I think there's a mistake and it's gonna be fixed. Boy, I was wrong. Apparently they were not involved in the children, eating free promotion and because I did not realize that my children did not give children meals I was expected to pay for the food that was brought and not what I ordered. When I asked to talk to a manager, I found out that the guy who joking around with my server was the GM of the store. Instead of just admitting that the server made a mistake and made it right by calling the bill he threatened to call the cops if I don't pay the full amount. I had already promised to pay for the kids food because they'd be participating in the promotion, even if I had just gone somewhere if I knew that, but I didn't want to pay for something I'm gonna be okay. At this point, the principle of the situation was more than the money. This was a heated argument with a cartridge over $6. He finally gave the discount I asked for the bill, but I will never go back here. I can say that no one who counts in this restaurant looks at these reviews, but if this is how your managers are trained, you should look at literally any other restaurant, including fast food, and learn how managers should behave.
On Friday morning, I took my daughter to IHOP for breakfast. We waited for someone to take our order, but no one came to our table. After waiting for 30 minutes, we finally asked a waiter to take our order. He said he was busy and our server would come at 10 o'clock. By the time they arrived at 10:15, other customers who had come in after us had already been served. We decided to leave as no one apologized for the delay. The customer service was very poor and I would not recommend this place. Perhaps the manager should focus on improving their customer service training.
The food was great, but our server wasn't. We felt like she was in a hurry. Get us out of there before she even ordered our drink. Deleting our plates when my kids still got the check while we're still eating.
Terrible experience. The syrups and condiments were all left uncovered on a table near the entrance. We waited an hour for our food and our cups remained empty the entire time. I will not be returning.
