Great location in the buzzy heart of Faro old town. Both the food and service were impeccable. These guys are clearly passionate about delivering great food and they didn’t disappoint. They offered traditional Portuguese dishes with an imaginative twist. Just delicious! Only sad that we only discovered this little gem on our last night as we would have definitely become regulars.

After reading very good reviews on Trip Advisor, and encouraged by the owner of the apartment we rented in Faro, we went to this restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, we didn't like the atmosphere: loud, in our opinion completely unsuitable for a tapas restaurant, music and somehow hard to explain chaos. Nevertheless, with good reviews in mind, we decided to stay. I wish we had listened to our first impression. The bread for the olives and oil, was not fresh, nor was it reheated. The house wine was of very poor quality for rather a high price. The dishes were prepared quickly, the fish undercooked and, to say the least, unpalatable. Not to mention that the side dish (baked potatoes) was served much earlier than the main course. There were several elderly couples around us and almost all of them looked very disappointed. On the plus side, I can write that the lady who served us was really nice and helpful. We paid more than 50 euros for the food, which was a total disappointment. I have the impression that this is one of those restaurants where the belief is that tourists can be sold everything, preferably a lot of money. It’s a shame!

We are both gluten free and the staff were very helpful. Menu fairly easy to read. Food absolutely delicious. Particularly skate dish and duck rice were exceptional but then so was the lentil stew. I’d go back and have the same again. Just benches a little back-breaking for a 75-year-old.

Unbelievably delicious food. The best chickenburger i've ever eaten and a very great waiter . We had two wonderful evenings with delicious mojitos, homemade! and a small portuguese wine tasting. Only to be recommended. I'll miss it and visit if I come to Faro again Thank you
