We visited at the end of February and, perhaps because of concerns about COVID-19, the restaurant was not very busy. Our pho arrived just five minutes after we placed our order, and it was delicious. If only the server had been a bit friendlier, I would have given him a five-star rating.

If you pay with a credit card, they will definitely load up your bill. They seem to prefer cash to prepare their tax reports. I noticed that the total changes depending on whether I pay in cash or by credit card. One time, I ordered pho and requested a small portion of meatballs, but they gave me an excessive amount, charging me as if it were $10 worth! It's unbelievable!

Having moved from Southern California where they have amazing Vietnamese food, I was looking for a place that was authentic at affordable prices. Luckily Hai Duong does just that. The space is situated in the Eden Center Mall but is super spacious and great for large groups. The menu is super expansive but everything is really solid. They have some of the best pho even though they don't specifically specialize in this like other Vietnamese restaurants. I also love their rice dishes such as the combo plate with shrimp cake, pork chop and vermicelli pork. So solid!!! Highly recommend to also get a side of broth with any of your dishes; is SO good. Service is friendly and overall it's a great place to go and I always crave it!
