Sunflower Cafe - Fairhope

This restaurant has so many items to choose from. It has both vegan and vegetarian items on the menu. It seems more Mediterranean in that you can choose Turkey or Chicken instead of Tofu or Tempeh. I am so happy to find it on the way to Gulf Shores. The hummus is awesome.

They have the option of tempeh or tofu in most of the dishes. The staff is really nice. They serve fresh hummus daily!

Really fantastic food, great knowledgeable service. Worth any drive… really. Located next to a really nice health food store that carries excellent vegan cookies if you need dessert!

We sung at Sunflower Cafe on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded and we were sitting right away. Abbie greeted us, answered our questions and brought our drinks. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich with two variations of hummus as the sides and, at Abbies suggestion, Thai Curry Stir Fry with chicken. Both articles were freshly prepared and were pretty good. The blue chips we ordered with our hummus tasted us both a bit, so we could choose Pita when we returned. Our food and beverages were added $34 with $1.30 as non-cash price adjustment. With taxes and satisfaction, we were a total of $45.48. Our thanks to Abbie for their suggestions and regular review for us during our meal. We plan a return visit to try other menu items.

It was so refreshing to find somewhere that served fresh organic, vegetarian/vegan friendly options! I really enjoyed my falafel wrap, with tabuleh side, and baba ganuesh!
