Amore Mio Italiano - Fairfield

I never thought that I would find such an excellent Authentic Italian restaurant of this quality in Iowa or anywhere in the USA. For appetizers we had Ravioli Fritti: slightly roasted rolls filled with spinach and Ricotta cheese served with creamy gogonzola sauce. ON THE TOP! Then I had the Pollo Picata: chicken breast fillet served with capers in a lemon-wine sauce. My taste buds were in heaven. We finished our meal with a sample of the deserts that finished this experience with a bang. Others at the table had drinks they thought were excellent and a good value as well as the meal. Now we don't have to go to Chicago to experience an authentic Italian meal of this size.

Date Night is back in Fairfield! A very romantic place! The food is AMAZING! Very authentic and high quality food made by a genuine Italian cook! I've eaten twice since they're open and I've loved everything I've eaten. The alcohol behind the bar is of wonderful quality and it is obvious that it was very thought of instead of the usual soil-animal foundations that most bars in stock. The service is very warm and friendly. Waiting is a little longer than normal, but the food is very much worth waiting. Most everything is done from scratch when you order it, so waiting makes sense. In addition, they give you amazing bread while you are waiting that melts quite much in your mouth with an amazing garlic and butter taste. The atmosphere is beautiful and very elegant. Definitely something that Fairfield 't had in a very long time and a welcome change, in my opinion. Hopefully, the other restaurants pick up a couple of Cues from Amore Mio, how to really run a restaurant and help Fairfield increase it to a notch!

This is by far my favorite place to dine in Fairfield. Excellent food and a beautiful atmosphere.

Mamma-Mia! My daughter and I celebrated my birthday two days ago. I had a wonderful, authentic and delicious Italian food. I was so surprised to find my favorite aperitivo: negroni! We had Calamari salati for appetizer, it was so fresh. I also had Penne al salmone, so good and the pasta was perfectly boiled al dente! The Tiramisu Dessert was the best I ever had in my life! When I arrived, I asked James our waiter when someone speaks Italian. Minutes later Nino dived on our table and took a chair and sat with us. It was so nice to speak with him this beautiful language. Thank you. Nino, so we feel so special in your restaurant. The atmosphere is so delicate and beautiful. Remember the Cesarina restaurant in Rome. Grazie Nino per una serata meravigliosa nel tuo ristorante! I recommend Amore Mio Ristorante!
