The MacMillan Whisky Room - Fairfax

Loved the look of the bar and the ladder sliding across the tall shelves. Food was good and liked the drinks, Only complaint was high noise level

First time visit, a couple flights of whiskey and some tots. Tots were very good. My friends merlot was not good, tasted like grape juice. I’ll be back

Food and drink was plentiful and quality. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and will look forward to returning

Service was really bad at my second time there. Reservations during corona virus which is fine but they had open tables and the server couldn’t accommodate. Went online and saw they had open reservations in minutes. The time for our reservation came and the server sat other people before us even though there were still empty tables. She had a bad attitude bad we kept on waiting till minutes past our reservation while others got seated. We finally got seated and ordered drinks. People who got seated after us got their drinks before us. Owner was definitely in on this and was condoning the behavior of this waitress. Disappointed in the places because it does have a nice atmosphere and beautifully decorated, but there are better whiskey bars in the area that actually care and treat customers right
