Wild Rooster Bistro - Fair Oaks

I'm a new vegan and needed a quick meal. Wild Rooster Bistro was recommended by Sunflower Restaurant staff who close on Tuesday and Sunday at 5 a.m. And what, are you there? I came home with veggie fajitas. Meat eaters have all their usual things, but there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free option on the whole menu. They're all thinking! The portions were generous and delicious. My husband and I would have split an order. This will be a great place to enjoy my meat to eat friends to a great Mexican meal; while, I eat for my health. It's a winner.

What a lovely Mexican restaurant. A great choice for vegans. I'm not a vegan but the vegan refried beans are amazing. We didn't know until after the meal and ended up buying a container to take home. My parents loved the ceviche. Service is friendly and thoughtful. Vibe is bare but laid-back. They hang art from local artists.

Food is authentic, and for Vegan lovers, the food is amazing. Enjoy this place almost every Sunday.

Unfortunately, the food did not have much flavor. The Spanish rice tastes like white rice, and the salsa is almost tasteless.

I ordered the wet burrito with vegan steak. it wasnt wet at all lol, theres was so sauce or anything on top. it came with a small container of salsa, but nothing like the picture. ive ordered this same thing before and it was perfect so i dont know what happened.. the vegan steak is actually a great steak substitute. the rice is really good but i dont think theres enough to be worth $5. (i also asked for no onions in my burrito and it had onions, but i was kinda expecting that. so if you hate onions maybe try something else.
