The Independent Beer - Everett

Great bar for a casual beer/teacher/seltzer with friends! Not too grungy or hipster, and the kind of spot you could come solo to have a brew and watch sports. The crowd while I was in a Saturday night was a chillbuzz, and the bartenders were super friendly and were entertained with locals. Recently came here for a drink and it happened to be a beet day – buy a beer, get a free beet! How funny? Dog friendly and they have fun games like shuffleboard and various cards/board games. Definitely will be back to try the dumplings / apples!

All right. I came at noon, so not too many people there, but a few. The bar is not especially big and I wouldn't quite dive it, a little western feeling, maybe chased, but very simple. Your beer selection was fine and since we were just there for a quick drink, it was good enough for us! We ordered some dumplings and they are coated in curry powder, Sriracha, Cilantro and acidic cream. They are really pretty good, but the curry powder was shaken up strongly. I really liked the taste, but the sprinkle would brighten a little.

First time at this bar. I had the Summer Pale it was good, but the whole place smelled like a very strong urine smell. I won't be back.

This place is great! Always new beers on Hahn. Owners are friendly and up to Earth. Come, spend time and money here, you'll be glad you did it! Bring your own food, or their dumplings are also pretty good. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance if you want to grab a few takeout first. There are also occasional trivia nights, usually a Wednesday I think, but check their social media for exact days. It is a relaxed and cool place to hang at any time and always a good mood. There are a few TVs always in hockey or baseball or football, etc. Also a great place to be in front of a Silvertips game or another event in Angel Of The Winds Arena, just above the street.
