From fresh baked bread, to wraps and sandwiches, and desserts, the food is always good and worth the drive. There is more seating in the new location, and more choices as well. AND . . yes, the chef is friendly, and makes the visit fun.

We booked for Good Friday lunch with my mother-in-law and Chef Pam did not disappoint. As always, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the service prompt and exact and the food amazing! The house "fall soup" was to die for and all of our meals were thoroughly enjoyable!

Three of us walked in for an early Saturday meal and were made welcome by the chef and server. Beverages were cold and refreshing, the meals were well put together. The taco on the taco salad is thin and delicious. Guacamole was yummy. Dessert case held many options. Raspberry chocolate mousse was very good. Definitely planning to return. Good value.

Starting with the food..... it's just ok. Not Bad but certainly not good. However, they need to change the name from Friendly Chef. Been here 2 times and there isn't a friendly staff member in the place, least of all the Chef!. Maybe with some training in customer service they could learn to become the "Friendly Chef". It's truly a shame because we love little locally owned restaurants as we prefer to support locally if we can..... this place does make that difficult to want to do. Sorry but it's true, we do hope that the owner/ Chef reads these and makes the changes to improve the food but most of all the attitude and friendliness of the staff.

We just visited this restaurant in the last couple of weeks. The food was awful! We had salads that were hardly dressed. Cheese sticks that were overly breaded. 22$ for the curry chicken, nann bread and rice. It was the dish that supposedly won her Canada's next top chef. It was dry and the rice was overcooked. The meal came out to the tune of almost $150. I don't question now why it was empty while we were there! What a disappointment! Wont go back:(
