Negrete's - Ensenada

Negrete's restaurant is a cozy Mexican restaurant that features great food in a warm atmosphere with fabulous service. I like the breakfast and lunch menus as the quality and price is very reasonable. You are always welcomed by the staff with a warm smile and efficient service. A wide range of menu selections are available for you anytime of the day. The owners go out of the way to make sure that you are welcomed on your arrival!

We were staying nearby at the Playa Hermosa Bed and Breakfast and the B&B owner recommended this restaurant. I really enjoyed it and it has good atmosphere with the buzz of all the people. I couldn't believe how super clean this restaurant was. The service was the best we had on our trip and the food very good. I ordered several things and enjoyed them all. The Chile Rellenos were awesome and the pancakes pretty good. My eggs were cooked perfect and my wife really enjoyed her traditional mexican breakfast. If I lived in Ensenada this would be a regular stop for me.

We were at the beach and highly recommended by local people at convenient store for the best place to eat around there. It was an easy 2 blocks walk. The restaurant was marvelous! The entire restaurant was really clean as if we were eating at home in The US. The food was delicious and reasonable price. The daughter of the restaurant owner spoke very well English and she even offered to take us back downtown! Try the ceviche and the fish speciality dish, they are super fresh high quality seafood. We give our highest recommendation and we would definitely go back there again at the next Ensenada visit.

We went to the beach and were looking for a place to eat! It was about two blocks from the ocean and the convenient store guy had guided us here. The restaurant was super clean, the staff was very sweet and accommodating, and the food was AWESOME! Reasonably priced, authentic and delicious! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We walked to Negrete's from the cruise terminal, about 2 miles, and worked up a hefty appetite. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly staff and were immediately given coffee and pastries. Both of which were VERY good. Each of the three dishes we ordered were huge and delicious, they also came with a lovely little appetizer of orange drink and some kind of quesadilla pocket that tasted the way stable smell (in a good way!) This was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and I'll definitely return on my next trip to Ensenada.
