George's Deli - Enfield

For a small town supermarket it has most things you need and the owners have improved the store tremendously over the last two years. Very clean, shelves well stocked, but never tried any of their deli products so cannot comment there. Found my Moxie there and was so pleased as it is hard to find. Great little store if you don't want to travel too far.

Ordered curbside pickup for chicken tenders on sale. When we got home the meat was frozen solid with freezer burns. It was not advertised this way. It shows fresh chicken. It was one big 2 lb. block when I requested 3 1 lb. portions. Never again buying meat there. God know how long it was frozen with the freezer burns evident.

I wouldn't advise shopping here! Unclean, owners are nice to your face but talk about you the minute you leave the store! The deli is questionable. Health department needs to step in....Jake's is the way to go!!

What a sad little place judging by the looks of the place and food wouldn't trust eating it (kinda looks like box kit pizza) and the staff are rude,

Desperately needs renovation! Hasn't been updated since I moved to the upper valley 35 years agoCan't wait for the new Jakes to arrive this fall! Long overdue for an upscale deli, market cafe.
