Islands - Encinitas

The Sunset Margarita was amazing. The grilled fish tacos were a bit bland (hot sauce made it better) and the staff was wonderful.

We don 't eat hamburgers often, but when we do, we visit a nicer restaurant like Islands to enjoy one. Mine was with guacamole called a 'Maui Burger '. Sometimes I choose to spoke the chocolate shake with gold rum. The Hawaiian style atmosphere is a refreshing change from the ordinary average and the place is clean, and service is very friendly.

Just had the Impossible Burger here at Islands. Great foods and reasonably priced!

I can't believe I haven't come here sooner! This place is awesome! It's surfer tiki decor, great burgers and servers! I got the Maui burger on a gf bun for only 99¢ more, it was really good too, asking with the sweet potato fries. The regular fries are super crispy and delicious also. We also got the bottomless drinks and the passion fruit iced tea was really good and the smoked peach lemonade was the best!

As usual it's decent food. I do wish everyone could get their own portion of fries instead of having four people sharing one since everyone has different preferences on things like salt and it also felt like a very small portion. We were asked if we wanted a refill but they were busy so we never received it, another issue that wouldn't happen if we had individual portions.
