I'm sorry, I had only lemonade that was very tasty. We had a pear salad w steak, a bowl of vegetables another of potatoes, Happy Hour Ceviche Carnitas short Rib Tacos. I have to say that the blue corstortillas were very rubbery, hard to chew. I ate the meat veggies that were delicious. All dishes had nice presentation were tasteful, but the point of the tortilla is to eat everything. The Ceviche was excellently sharp. I'm trying a margarita on my next visit.

Nice little spot in Encinitas with a modern vibe, good music, and great drinks. It 's a bit small on the inside, but outdoor seating is the way to go anyway and there 's plenty of high tops and regular table with heaters. The drink menu is extensive, it is tequila bar after all, but the bartenders take pride in their mixology skills and it shows. I 'd suggest venturing away from your comfort zone and have fun trying something you wouldn 't normally get. I haven 't tried the food, the kitchen closes at 9, everything sounds good though and if they put as much care in their food as they do their drinks you can 't go wrong. The staff was friendly and on point with service. All in all it was a great experience and definitely a place I 'll keep high on the will be back list .

Our publicist @j_alexandra89 suggested that we begin soliciting recommendations for new places to review, so this visit is courtesy of @tinytwointow. While I admit that @deathbytequila feels like an intimating challenge, there?s nothing on the menu that will jeopardize your well being (unless moderation is not your friend). One thing is for sure, I definitely failed to meet the minimum coolness standards required for entry, but they let me slide in anyway. Particularly on a Saturday night, this seems like the place to be. Their Margaritas, Cuatro Salsas, and Short Rib, Crab, and Carnitas Tacos are ridiculously good. The music was upbeat and matched the vibe here, but was loud enough to discourage conversations at the table. This place makes me think we need to develop some kind of rating system at Henry?s Take to portray when our ?subscribers? ? really need to visit someplace. Go for Happy Hour and try the blistered tempura shishitos. The classic Margarita classic Paloma was so good that we did not try out any of the flavor enhancers, but you can add charred pineapples, jalapeños, basil, etc. We had the salsa trio that comes with guacamole chips: high quality. Everyone was also satisfied with his tacos.
