City Tacos - Encinitas

It was a reasonable priced tacos meal for the four of us. The tacos were good the sitting outside was just okay.

5 stars for tacos and the chef. 1 star for the guy at the reception. Very Grumpy. Train him in hospitality and respond here. I will update the rating to 5 then.

Taco Tuesday grand slam! Maybe don’t wait in line at the other taco spot in the area! Swing over to City Tacos…fun vibe with a DJ, a foosball table, lounge area with a fire pit, tons of outdoor seating, so many delicious taco options…oooo and Elote Asado. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The DJ even posed for a pic. Worth it for the vibe alone! Taco Tuesday includes $2.50 Mexican beer and 10% off food ?

Great little place, excellent food, generous salsa counter with extras like fresh cilantro onions!

In an effort the leave an 200 character review. I ordered a carnitas taco and a Mexicali taco. Both were amazing ?. I rate taco shops for fun and I would highly recommend this place. The salsa was also fresh and tasty. Total score 9.25. There is room to improve into hand tossed tortillas. Other than that. So good. I'll be back for sure. Lager beer on tap was also good. I want to try fish tacos next time.
