El Chile Poblano - Elwood

Dingy looking place, but I thought nothing of that because some places that look unassuming actually have good food. Not this place. The waitress hostess was more concerned about playing on her cell phone than doing her job, and actually seemed annoyed that we wanted her attention. The food was bland and barely warmer than room temperature. Everything was overpriced, considering how awful the food and service is. I've been told that people have gotten food poisoning from going here. I don't understand the positive reviews. Either I got unlucky and picked a bad night, or the people in Elwood are a little too easy to please. I do not recommend this place.

Definitely do not go here. The food sucks and they definitely overcharged you. They gave me a menu with a regular menu and then when we go to the cash register they charged us out of a different menu that had increased prices. Then they charged us individual prices on everything regular enchiladas for 349 x3 rice was $3.50 beans were $3.50 and so on and so on. I definitely will not be going back there I hope nobody goes there neither their food was out of this world gross I threw my food away. I don't recommend going there.

Thought I would give this place got carry out steak fajitas. No tortillas in bag .partly my bad I should of.checked but let's say my dog thoroughly enjoyed it.the only way I can explain it is the food was like it was taken out from yesterday and.microwaved and given for takeout. Was not happy at

Great service, everyone was so polite. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Great drink options for a good price.
