Don's Drive-in - Elmwood Charter Twp

I loved my dinner at Don's Drive In. They offer a variety of diner food, and it is all great! They are super friendly and make it a fun place to get a meal in Traverse City! The real fruit shakes are rich in flavor as well would definitely recommend!

Definitely go here if your looking for a good old fashion greasy burger with all the toppings! The burgers can be purchased in a basket that includes fries and Cole slaw. The fries aren't the best in the world. So, I suggest trading them put for onionrings. The onion rings are just awesome! The service was fast and friendly and restrooms clean. I will be back again soon!

Get the shake, skip the rest. My large strawberry shake was great (5 stars) but the (1/4 lb) burger and fries were not at all good. There wasn't a flake of salt on the over-cooked fries and the burger was just bland (unseasoned, no texture) and notnearly as good as something much cheaper, like a whopper. Hopefully this is a temporary dip in quality as their offerings yearsago were some of the best burgers I've had. The coleslaw was edible, and close to good. All in all it was absolutely not worth$22 (not including a tip to the hardworking wait staff).

DElicious! The burger was perfect, the fries were perfect, the Real Fruit Strawberry shake was perfect! Loved it and will be coming again : I got the 1/8 lb burger and it was plenty for me!

Excellent hamburger, tasty milkshake, horrible french fries. I like the 50s diner atmosphere and the service was pretty friendly too, prices were fair, that burger is HUGE!
