El Ranchero Mexican - Ellettsville

Being from South California, And going to Mexico a lot, well the food is not that bad, and the service was very good , it's hard to compare when one has had the best!! Try pork dishes, there are very good.

We have ate at (4) four of these restaurants. The food is always very good.

Decent food, service, and atmosphere. Pretty standard American Mexican restaurant.

Colorful decor, very attentive staff, just not very good food, average.

I ordered steak rare and shrimp. I've have jerky that was thicker than the steak. Paper thin, no flavor. The vegs were swimming in juice so much they needed floats. Also had a takeout order which the meat in both were burnt and little to no vegs in the burritos. All this after no straws, ect. The service sucked. Thr waiter definitely didn't earn what they charged us for a tip. Will not waste my time or money here again. Worst mexican I've ever had. Definitely don't recommend it.
