Absolutely Perfect Catering - Elkridge

Attended the wedding of a family friend this weekend that Absolutely Perfect Catering catered. Multiple plates at the table me and my husband were seated at had what appeared to be rodent urine on them. Really not 100% sure that it was rodent urine exactly, but it was urine none the less. The yellow stain and strong ammonia smell gave it away. The server was kind enough to exchange the plates, but it's scary to think about the cleanliness of where these plates were stored.

We were really impressed with Absolutely Perfect from the start. First, their tasting was complimentary (with the biggest portion sizes and best tasting food , when the other two places we went to cost us upwards of $150! Then, Lori did a really great job walking us through the whole process and answering our many questions. Most importantly, they made our wedding fabulous. From the seamless set up, to working with our other vendors, to the incredible service from their very sweet and efficient staff, to the amazing food they nailed it! At the end of the night, a family member asked who catered the wedding. We replied Absolutely perfect and they said I know it was, that 's why I want to know who did it! It took a couple of rounds of that until they finally got that Absolutely Perfect was the company 's name!! : Really a wonderful company that we are so so pleased we hired for our wedding.Photo Credit to Nancy Anderson Cordell Photography

APC was helpful from beginning to the end! We initially worked with Sarah who helped with the initial quote, menu planning, centerpieces etc. She then went out on her own maternity leave and we had the assistance from Josh. Josh did a wonderful job with last minute changes we did not anticipate. Patty, Heather and the day of team went above and beyond!! My wedding day it monsooned... Seriously was so rainy and wet with terrible conditions at the venue however this team did not stop. They did what they had to do and then some. Heather helped with holding the umbrella right before I walked down the aisle, the team helped me find a bobby pin, and they helped when my dad took a tumble out in the rain. After things settled down, the bartenders ensured my cup was never empty and my guests said their drinks were the best mixed drinks at a wedding they had ever had. Thank you to those at APC that yes made and served the food but also took moments to just help out their fellow humans and treat people with care and kindness on such an emotional day.

I only dealt with the day of staff they went above and beyond. Heather, the head caterer that day held the head of the man who fell and cut his head until an ambulance came. She was soaking wet. In addition, the team made sure food allergies were taken care of, swept up the flooding rainwater for us and tried to find venue staff. They were amazing.

I coordinated a wedding last weekend and had the pleasure of teaming up with APC. The staff did a great job setting up on a tight timeline because of the venue restrictions. The decor, organization and execution couldn't have gone better. They were great to work with and everyone was so nice. Shout out to Courtney* who was the bride's attendant for the night, she was absolutely amazing! So sweet, attentive and a great attitude even though it was a long day and a lot of work!
