SO good. They are way too nice and lovely. Very cozy. Food is great while dining in and taking out. It is always consistent. I hope they open back up, sure miss it.

The front lobby is a bit deceiving; when you enter, there 's a bar to sit and eat at with 'video games ' to the right of the entrance. We were a little confused entering at first. We thought we had the wrong place. The hostess then guided us in to the left around the corner to the dining room. The ambiance was nice and the decorations were neat. The serving staff was very attentive and very good. She kept a good balance of giving us time to enjoy each other 's company yet keeping up with us. We didn 't feel rushed at all. The food was okay, nothing to rave over. Their spicy is legitimately spicy though- their spicy level is consider a 5 on a typical scale. Not a bad choice for $30 for two people.

Excellent family run business. You can tell they have passion for the food and being part of the community. If you're in Elgin this place is worth checking out for so many reasons

So far so good, a great view to the River and close to the train station parking is always available on street or across next to the River view.. Ambien is very relaxing, set up looks great and casual.. amazing food and service!!!

Love this place! Someone suggested to check it out and we are glad we did. We showed up close to closing time and they were more than happy to sit us. So A+ on service. I personally ordered the spicy fried rice and it was just amazing. Will definitely be craving for more. Reasonably priced and good quantity. good job
