Ocean Huatulco - El Arrocito

We ate here four times after the fire that burned down the palapa. The hostess got us seated the first two times after the reservation was messed up. She is great! I had the balsamic steak three times. It was just too good to resist. Tender, juicy, with incredible flavor. We both had tortilla soup which is mixed right at the table so it's very hot and delicious. My wife had the steak twice and loved it even though she's not fond of steaks. a easy walk from our condo at Punta Arrocito.

Food and service for all 5 people was exceptional. Wine selection, including the house wine is much better than previous visits. The staff is working within the shell of what was once a beautiful structure which was damaged by a recent fire. They are performing admirably! We would love to see some chicken dishes and a side order option of chicken and shrimp for the salads. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see it next season when the roof and repairs are done!

Hey guys! My boyfriend and I had a stressful day of travel/finding a hotel and we stumbled upon this magical little restaurant. When we pulled up live music was playing the manager took care of us right away! Beatiful sunset, amazing cocktails, incredible dishes! The special thing about this place was the atmosphere, amazing vibe!

By far the best place to eat in Huatulco. The food is outstanding and the service is amazing. We have never had a bad meal here! The ownership is so friendly!

So we found this place online showed great reviews so we decided to give it a try Celebrating My Sister In Laws Birthday. Its a bit far from where we stayed but the Drive was worth it. Not much of a Menu selection and we had to pass a tablet around the table since they only had one menu that was on a tablet but the Food was Amazing. The portions were a bit small but the taste made up for it. Great Service Shayla was very efficient. It had one downfall. It was 6 of us 3 couples. The girls ordered drinks we ordered beers not much of a beer selection either. First round was good nice and cold ordered our second round and we were told no more beers from our first option so we had to go with choice number two. Yes a beer is a beer but they taste differently and its always best to first drink what you like or secondly stay with the same kind unless they are craft beers. So Round two came and went before our food was served but after appetizers so we ordered round 3 before our dinner and guess what? Yup they had no more of or second choice either! in fact they only had two more beers of any kind not enough for a 3rd round so they had 8 beers on a Saturday Night at 7pm dinner reservation. We felt that either they didnt want to serve us and that was a way to kick us out or that they have no management skills that tells them how much inventory to have. Yes i asked and Shayla assured us that they were not kicking us out. We were not rowdy we were dressed for dinner we were celebrating a special night and we thought it would be a nice place to have a great dinner. Well the food is Great the Shayla was amazing but the management needs to step up their game. We were informed that they were just reopening up after a fire that they had 30 days prior. So an A for effort to reopen that quick but i suggest they hire a good manager to assure that they have inventory or make sure you tell the customer that they have a 1 drink maximum.
