Nina's Mexican Food Dessert

Pretty good authentic Mexican food. Service has always been fast and courteous. The food is definitely much better than any other Mexican food offerings in the area.

Great daily specials! Fresh and tasty salsa. They're dessert flan is incredible. Complimentary chips and salsa even with to go orders. Family ran. Very generous.

I visited this place once when it first opened, and more recently after the owners (from what I was told by staff) left it to new management. The inside was also remodeled/redecorated. The first time I went there, I was excited to see authentic tacos (asada, carnitas, etc) served with onion and cilantro. I also ordered a tamale. They were so delicious! I ordered a few other items on the menu that were more of the Tex-Mex variety. A taco. Nachos (chips with nacho cheese and jalapeño slices). They were ok. At this time it appeared that a family was caring for the place. A few kids ran around but also were eating dinner once they sat down long enough to do so. Upon my most recent visit, the inside was repainted and had prettier decor. The waitress/hostess was extremely polite and courteous. Definitely upgraded from the last time I had been there. I ordered my faves... 1 tamale, 1 carne asada taco, 1 pastor taco. It was all amazing and came with chips and salsa even though my order was to-go . It 's not large, it 's not over the top, but it def has charm in its own way... and great food if you know what to order!

Had potential-not well executed. Food was good when they first opened/service was not. Went back recently-very disappointed. Run by unqualified teenagers. Kids hanging out in restaurant distracting workers. Took way too long to get food to table. Lacks professionalism. Food was not as good. Service was horrible. Needs consistency adults running the restaurant, otherwise they will not be successful. I hope they can turn this mess around.

I had the one dollar Tomales which is there special on Mondays. The corn meal was moist and the meat had good flavor. The portion of the food was excellent I had 2 Tomales and the tank is full. Staffing here is really nice I would have to say it has to do with the new management. The chips and salsa was alright. The chips were homade along with the salsa. I would have gave this restaurant 5 stars if the salsa tasted a little different. For the value and the taste of the food this place can't be beat.
