The Woodrack Café - Edmonton

Love the atmosphere and nice place to have coffee. Barista is friendly also.

I would just like to say that I LOVE this place! The Woodrack Cafe has this amazing energy about it. The breakfast artichoke sandwich was probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The Caramel latte was delicious and the owner was so great. Definitely my new spot when I’m travelling to Edmonton

On the journey to review coffee shops all through edmonton, this little gem was recommended to me for their finely brewed drip coffee. Upon arrival midday Saturday, we found the guest seating almost completely full. The location afforded them much walk in traffick. We found the only table left and ventured to the counter. I waited...and waited. I went back to my seat. I waited. I went up to the backroom door, loudly knocked and stuck my head in, Hello! No one there. In the 7 or so minutes I waited, three more guests had come in stood with me for a few moments and left. I finally did get my coffee. It was amazing. Richly flavored and roasted to perfection for a medium roast. My companion and I ended up finishing our coffees on a walk down Whyte. It may have been a one time experience with staff gone so long, I was ok with it. Ambiance and taste made up for the weak customer service. We will go back.

Making my rounds with Edmonton’s coffee pass and discovered this gem for the first time today. We tried a strawberry cheese Danish (they warmed it up) which was out of this world. Also tasty was the lemon ricotta cheesecake waffle woopie pie. And the oat cookie latte was a wonderful blend of espresso, well-steamed oat beverage, and warm spices. The ladies behind the till were bubbly welcoming, and the cafe atmosphere was cozy inviting. Can’t wait to visit again!

Wow! The Woodrack has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try! Their bacon breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the turmeric almond latte was fantastic as well. The music is really enjoyable and creates a perfect background for studying or working. I'll definitely be returning!
