To be honest I am sure what to say as I have always received great food at the Sawmill in other locations in and around the City. For starters, The bearnaise seafood add to my steak came to the table cold with a prawn that had the skin and legs still attached smothered in bearnaise sauce. Our seasonal vegetables were so under cooked I don’t think they were cooked and the steaks tasted as if they were burnt. In addition, the establishment is significantly in need of repairs. What makes me sad is this was the place to go at one time and the food was nothing short of amazing. Thought I would celebrate my birthday at a great steak house but was sincerely disappointed
Had a great time there with my family for my birthday Only bad things I can say is Yorkshire pudding was burnt and it took a long time to get mine and my daughter's drinks otherwise a wonderful time
It was utterly a complete waste of money... We ordered ribeyes a prime rib dinner... The prime rib dinner was cold way under cooked, very rubbery and tasteless... It was so bad we had to return it... The ribeye entrees we order, one of them was a sirloin they tried to pass off as a ribeye... When your spending buck a plate you better get what you ordered... The seasonal vegetables looked like they came from a frozen bag out of the freezer... The twice baked potato I ordered looked like it came from a box at Costco... It just seems the Sawmill has gone down hill over the years... Sanjay our waiter tried to make things right... The other waiter that brought our food, he was a tall lanky guy with glasses had a bit of an attitude... I noticed when I went to the restroom he was busy flirting with the girls in the bar, maybe that's why our meals we cold and grabbed the wrong entree...We will not be returning... With the way things are going you think these restaurants would go above and beyond to keep the customers coming back, instead they are jacking up the prices serving subpar food... The Sawmill should be ashamed, we should have just went to the Keg..
Very disappointing. We went here for our anniversary and the food was tasteless and not worth the price they charge. We will never ever go back here again. Sent an email to the sawmill and have not heard back from them. will wait and see...
