Rocky Mountain Icehouse - Edmonton

I'm definitely a fan of this place! I went for a show recently and the sound was fantastic.

Good vibe and locationI think it's patio along Jasper Ave is probably one of the liveliest in the city in the summers.

I've never set foot in Rocky Mountain Icehouse before but it's located right beside The Needle Vinyl Tavern.

Excellent servers, friendly and efficient service. Great menu with interesting food and even more brilliant - no fries in sight! Try the pig nuts and the zucchini fritters. Exceptional value for money. Great outdoor seating, plus spacious cool inside bar/diner.

My wife had the chilli while the other parties order jambalaya, I ordered the pork ribs and was surprised by the amount of food given for $20. Good variety of seasoned vegetables, with tasty beans, garlic mashed potatoes (kind of lumpy) and a good portion of ribs which came off the bone easily. Music is not too overwhelming for conversation and there is a patio area for those that desire the hot sun, Good variety of beer to be sampled likely why most customers choose to just drink on a hot evening. Four meals with alcoholic beverage for just under $80 will certainly bring me back to the icehouse,
