Chianti Cafe and Restaurant - Edmonton

We enjoy Chianti's in Clareview to meet up with friends or to have a quiet supper. The pasta dishes are delicious and are a very reasonable price. If you what a more hearty and formal meal their full meals are very good. They have very good selection of seafood, beef and pork dishes.

We net cousin and her husband here at their suggestion. Service and décor was pretty much what I remember from my only other visit to this location. There used to be a Chiantis on 4th Ave in Vancouver which deliver Italian fine dining – this restaurant doesn’t live up to that. Maybe it is what I ordered but the spaghetti carbonara was not well prepared at all.

Was here today for a late lunch with family. Chianti's is always consistent, but what made it stand out today was our server. We had two kids in tow, a four-year-old and a toddler, and the server was great with the kids. He was funny and attentive and made the experience so much fun. I had a latte, the starter spinach salad, and a half order of the tortellini alla romanoff. Everything was good, and I left feeling stuffed!

Went there for lunch and found the menu easy to read and good choices. Food was super and service excellent.

1st I love this place - but food sizes & quality needs improvement when ordering for delivery or pick up. Ordered 2 main meals + a salad & dessert. The spinach salad - best on the city. Their chicken mushrooms main - VERY tasty but this time I paid the extra for a pasta side instead of the veggies & potatoes- I will not do that again. Pasta size that I paid extra for VERY VERY small - 5 ravioli pieces - that was it! Plus I ordered the dark chocolate ganach dessert- presentation was horrible- no whipped cream part of the crust missing.
