While Earl 's is what you would expect for Edmond, a chain restaurant with non offensive (not smoked) BBQ. I 'm not speaking ill of te Rib Palace, it is just that this place is just so much better. The meat is smoked, as you smell it as you go in, and it was a work of love which BBQ should be. Portions are good size, and there are many sides, and all are as good as the main course, something you don 't always find at a smokehouse.<br/ Another plus are the sandwiches are not put on either cheap white bread or cheap store bought buns, something most hard core smokehouses do, as they spend their time on the meat which is the main course. Klemm 's uses a much higher end bakery bun, and it does add to the sandwich. They also have a good selection of beers, as beer 'cue as well as beer and brats just go together.<br/ <br/ I had the fresh cut fries, and it is was a massive amount. The sauces were heated and I 'm pretty sure were made in house and were an interesting more complex mix of flavors, again that accented the meat. I don 't want to compare BBQ sauce to wine, but this one you almost could with the hints of various flavors.<br/ The only negative I can come up with are the napkins. This is BBQ, and they had smaller napkins that you would find at a burger place where you don 't need something more industrial like paper towels, on each table. Sauce containers could be a little larger, but again understand how they might want to ration their sauce. <br/ <br/ Oh, didn 't have dessert, but they had some really good looking home made cookies, and a sign suggesting you try their new banana pudding. Banana pudding is one of those things that really needs to be at any smokehouse, again showing there is finally a real smokehouse in the homogenized community of Edmond.<br/ If you like your BBQ flavorful, real smoked flavor like a backwood smokehouse this is your place in Edmond. If you prefer the tamer uniform chain that is called BBQ, you can go across the street. Some people like Ice cream, and some like frozen yogurt, and this is old fashioned ice cream.
Not my new favorite BBQ place OKC. Was I expecting it to be? No. <br/ <br/ Great BBQ, service and ambiance are considered a trifecta...if you can find it. It 's hard to come by.<br/ <br/ However, the employees love being here. It showed in their faces, greetings...and the restaurant. The German BBQ concept was different and entertaining. I 'm sure the owner was trying to fuse heritage with a passion for BBQ. <br/ <br/ The jalapeños and red onions were a welcome surprise on my 'SmokeHaus ' combo sandy. I 'll go again to try the German side of offerings...smoked sausage and schnitzel. The fries are not my style...but I loved them. They look burnt, but they 're cooked with love. <br/ <br/ Presentation was amazing. I didn 't want consume anything on the aluminum platter. See for yourself. Savor that bite...every last bite. <br/ <br/ I know liquor licenses are expensive, but you cant claim German without a few selections 'bier '.<br/ <br/ Klemm, thank you for the food, the experience...and for being my review to push me into 'conniseur ' status on Zomato. And with that, I bow out of here. See you soon, Klemm!
The rating for this restaurant deserves to be much higher! <br/ <br/ My family has eaten here multiple times. The food is a German take on barbecue with great sauces and sides to accompany. Very hearty dishes. My kids love the Mac n cheese. <br/ <br/ The service is always top notch. Very friendly and accommodating. <br/ <br/ And the atmosphere is nice. Fun art. Eclectic feeling. Good vibes. <br/ <br/ My family was excited to have a local food option in Edmond with something unique to offer.
Been driving by this place for over two weeks and been telling myself every time I go by 'today is the day ' and I always forget to go. Well, today was the day and man am I satisfied right now. To all you Earls lovers out there, you don 't even know. <br/ <br/ I didn 't fully know what I was getting myself into before I walked in the door, German/BBQ joint. German beer hall style seating and decor that serves the best smoked meats on Broadway hands down. <br/ <br/ Service is great and they will help you decide what to get if you aren 't sure, very patient as well. They have there sauces, hot and mild, heated and not in bottles that look like they haven 't been cleaned in months. <br/ <br/ The best advice I can give anyone going here is to go hungry. They got the quantity and quality down. Got the smokehaus sandwich and it was legit. Got Toby feelin right. <br/ <br/ Found my new favorite place when wanting to satisfy my BBQ addiction. <br/
Edmond gained a wonderful new, family owned restaurant. You lucky dogs. The BBQ was some of the best I've had and they've put their hearts and soul into opening this establishment.
